I drive my sister’s car because it is currently being paid for, leased, i think it is. I do not know anything about car insurance and I recently got into an accident. I must get insurance now because I have court on the 29th! I must show proof of insurance and pay other fees. I need to find an insurance company that is cheap and can do this. Thanks.

I think when they say proof of insurance they mean proof that you were insured at the time of the accident so getting insured now won’t help. However you do need insurance regardless. You will need to be added as a named driver on your sister’s insurance policy rather than taking out your own so you need to speak to her.

wow/getting insurance now is to late/get her insurance proof and take that with you/it must have ins if its leased you think/dont drive that car again unless its insured and proper license plates/ you think/
