Is there any new technology that is coming out around christmas time that is secret?

What is the difference between the Iphone first generation and the iphone 3G? I know this sounds stupid but how do I know which one I have? My husband bought it for me in February.. Isn’t the new one the 3GS? I am so confused now!!!!

The iphone 3g was released in june of 2008 if I recall right… I’m curious as to how far ahead of that did apple let people know what exactly was coming on the new phone?
Just curious with all the rumors flying bout this coming june for when apple might release info.

I am planning to unlock my iPhone 3G 16 GB. I plan to unlock and jailbreak it, so that I can install cracked apps. But my doubt is, Can I still be able to update my iPhone 3G through iTunes, after this process?

If you know how much it costs and if there is a 32g iphone 3g and how much that one would costs i would love to hear your answer.
